I love fall, love watching the leaves change colour. It’s time for a change at Harrison Park Inn.

I have decided to retire from the restaurant industry. I have been here for 18 years and have been so blessed to meet so many amazing people. Customers I now call you friends, business reps that have also become close friends and so many staff that have come and gone but have touched my life forever.

The restaurant industry struggles with a high-turn over of staff but somehow we’ve always made it more like a family then a job. In saying that I am so happy to announce the new operator has over 13 years of hands on restaurant experience. I hired David Porter to work the Take out window one summer in high school and lucky for me…he keep coming back! He left for school, came back, travelled down under, came back and has been managing the restaurant for the last 5+years. I knew right away he was “a lifer”.

Dave is so excited for his next chapter. He has lots of great ideas and will bring some fresh new life back to the Inn! He also know all about the special unique items that make the Park so well loved.

Dave has a strong relationship with the staff and a deep respect for our customers. I cant wait to see what he will accomplish!

I would like to pass on a HUGE THANK YOU to my staff (past and present). There have been so many moments that make me laugh, challenging times that have helped me grow, experiences that I will cherish forever. I greatly appreciate all your help and support!! It’s not an easy business and you ALL made it better! Keep encouraging each other…xo

I will miss seeing YOU! ( Staff, customers, friends and family) It was always a nice surprise to see who would stop by for a meal or to grab something from the take-out window.

THANK YOU so much for all your support of the years.
So farewell…on to the next chapter.
