Period poverty is a human rights issue that is faced globally and can be eliminated.

Here in Grey Bruce, period poverty has an alarming rate of approximately 1 in every 2 menstruators struggling to access period products. When products are not affordable or accessible, important obligations such as school and work are missed.

To purchase period products that will provide schools, libraries, food banks, and outreach programs with FREE menstrual products and make them available anytime to anyone needing menstrual supports, It's Personal Period is running a fundraising auction. If you are interested in being part of the fight to end period poverty, please consider donating an item to the auction (must be new) and/or joining the auction event It's Personal Period 'Dollars For Dignity' Fundraising Auction to bid.

Take a look at the list of suggestion auction items and think about how you could support a local business, artist or teacher by buying gift certificates for their goods and services. Bidding on something for a gift or to fulfill a need will be a win-win-win.
