Join NakdBasics at the Harry Lumley Bayshore this coming Saturday August 6th, from 10am-2pm.
Charlee from NakdBasics will be there selling her small batch, handcrafted plant based skin care. Charlee is a nurse, herbalist and reflexologist with a true passion for skin care, foraging, and educating. She started this business in 2015 with a Business Enterprise Centre's Summer Company grant. She soon had brick and mortar store fronts that have been closed since covid, but has expanded into educating the community and offering in-person pop up shops to purchase her items outside of her website.
There is also a walk-in make & take portion to the event. You will be able to craft your own bath/shower salt by adding your chosen botanicals and scents, as well as customizing your very own roll on perfume oil using essential/fragrance oils, crystal chips and botanicals. This event is fun for all ages! Salts are $20 and come packaged in a large 16oz glass jar. Roll on perfume oils are $12, also in glass bottles. Courtney (former NakdBasics store manager) will be there to assist the make & take tables as well!
Lastly, Payton (an 11 year old local friend of Charlee’s) will be there selling her beautiful handmade bracelets. She crafts these using gemstones, beads, lava stone and wood. 100% of the proceeds go to Payton and her business, The Carft House. She is a young entrepreneur wanting to get her business started.
