The first River District Wheel & Ride Event is happening on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at the Owen Sound Farmers’ Market from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. This is a free family friendly event to promote back-to-school street safety.

The event will offer an obstacle course, rules of the road, bike maintenance, live on-location broadcasting, children’s tattoo parlour, face painting, community bbq, and more.

Owen Sound Tourism will be offering their free bikes at the event so anyone can participate. People who wish to use the free bikes will be asked to provide identification. Helmets are mandatory for anyone participating.

Washrooms will be available at the Farmers’ Market for the duration of the event.
