"Aesthetic and technological underachievement" was the main consideration as the Vehicle Selection Committee selected entrants for the Lemon event, which preceded Sunday's Cobble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
The Committee advised that cars accepted for the Sunday Concours were ineligible for Saturday's show, and that Ribbons of Dishonour were given for successful attempts at bribery, often presented in the form of food and liquor.
More than 20 lemony vehicles lined 1st Ave. W. during Satuday afternoon's event, presented by Hagerty.
