Nine downtown Owen Sound venues are collaborating to feature their health and wellness services and products this Saturday (September 24) from 10:00 to 4:00 as part of the first Wellness Walkabout. There is no charge to attend this self-guided walking tour which will include demonstrations, product samples, tours, health talks, door prizes, and parking is free!
The Wellness Walkabout is an innovative program which highlights the wide range of health and wellness opportunities located in a three-block area. At each venue, business owners and industry representatives will introduce visitors to the many remarkable facilities and services they have on offer. Many will have in-store specials for the day, as well as free samples and door prizes.
It has been suggested that this area has a history of being a healing vortex, and the wide variety of options provided by these independently owned venues supports this. Each stop on the Wellness Walkabout demonstrates a distinct approach to health and wellness; visitors will find many options from which to choose.
