The added benefits of being a licensed Home Child Care Provider in Bruce County include funds for start-up costs, support from Registered Early Childhood Educators, referrals to your business, guaranteed payments from families eligible for Child Care Subsidy, financial support for toys and equipment, professional development, and networking.
Bruce County Economic Development can also support interested Home Child Care Providers with access to free one-on-one business advice consultations. This includes advice and direction on all aspects of business development, including idea generation, steps to start-up success, business plan development and guidance, navigating rules and regulations, hiring, marketing considerations, and more. Free training workshops are also available in financial management, marketing, branding, and social media to support your skills needs.
