Tickets are now available for Inside the Atom, an evening with Dr. Eric Johnston, Chief Innovation Officer at the Nuclear Innovation Institute (NII).
In this upcoming talk, Dr. Johnston will explore the inside of the atom and share insights on how nuclear forces work and function as part of our everyday lives.

The Museum’s Muse Talks Academic Lecture Series is proudly presented by Georgian College.
Dr. Johnston is the Chief Innovation Officer at the Nuclear Innovation Institute (NII), where he leads efforts turning good ideas into great projects for some of Canada’s largest companies in the nuclear space. His familiarity with emerging technologies like advanced manufacturing and machine learning, combined with knowledge of nuclear issues from isotopes to radiation exposure, has helped him develop projects and get them funded, with academic and government partners including the U.S. Department of Defense and the Canadian Space Agency. He has a PhD in Health/Medical Physics from McMaster University and a nuclear engineering undergraduate degree from Queen’s University.
