Billy Bishop Museum and the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 6, will be hosting a Digital Preservation Day in the North Atlantic Room on Saturday, Nov. 5, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Everyone is welcome! Bring your family’s documents, photos and artifacts and we will scan them for you for free.

We can also interpret your items and help you research them or individuals who served during the First and Second World Wars.

It is important to preserve your family’s history and the best way to do that is to digitize the items as this keeps them in better shape going forward. The artifacts will be easier to share with family and friends. Students from Owen Sound District Secondary School will be assisting us.
