The Georgian Bay Symphony's beloved Yuletide concert returns with a full live orchestra and a carol singalong, a long-running seasonal treat for families and music lovers.
After a two-year pause, this year's concert is simply called Joy:

Christmas is almost here and so is the Georgian Bay Symphony’s Yuletide concert, a long running Grey Bruce holiday tradition.
For some families it is the draw of hearing their favourite seasonal music played by a full live orchestra, for others it is the opportunity to sing some carols with friends, neighbours, and family.
Whatever the reason for many it is as much a part of their holiday tradition as taking in the Santa Claus parade or watching their favourite Christmas film.
Christmas is a time for traditions and family. And the Symphony offers the opportunity to share this great tradition with your family. This season’s concert is called simply Joy.
After the last few years it is fitting to have a holiday concert focused on the joy of the holiday. You will hear Excerpts from Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker Suite and sing along with the Hallelujah chorus from Handel’s Messiah. There will be other Christmas tunes to sing along and lots of other great music including a medley of music from various Christmas movies.
Come and experience the Joy of the season with the Georgian Bay Symphony Saturday, Dec. 10, at 7:30 p.m. East Ridge Community School, 1550 8th St. E., Owen Sound.
Tickets are available online.
