There’s so much to learn and the Library offers bite-sized learning everyone can enjoy!
Biindigin (‘come in’) is an Indigenous series; in this session on Saturday, Jan. 21, at 10:30 a.m., Durham Branch, participants take on Welcoming and Educating the Child.
Metis workshop leader Diane Owen explains about moss bags and dreamcatchers. Participants will make a dreamcatcher.
You don’t have to have attended the previous sessions, but space is limited, so be sure to register. $15 materials fee; bring a small, meaningful object to be woven into your dreamcatcher.
Kombucha? You Betcha! is a one-hour session for those who are interested in making their own healthful fizzy drink. Luke takes participants through the process. Bring a clean jar and a $2 materials fee, and you’ll go home with your own sample. Pre-registration required.
And on Thursday, Jan. 26, at 2:00 p.m., the Library is marking Alzheimer Month with Filling the Day with Meaning for caregivers and others living with an individual with dementia, presented by Sandra Hong of the Alzheimer Society of Grey Bruce.
As with all other programs, there is no charge to attend, but pre-registration is required at [email protected] or 519.369.2107.
