All paths led to the 171st Owen Sound Fall Fair this weekend at Victoria Park and the Julie McArthur Regional Recreation Centre. |
The 171st Owen Sound Fall Fair crashed and banged its way to a close Saturday night with a demolition derby and barn dance after two days of agricultural and cultural events at Owen Sound's Victoria Park and Julie McArthur Regional Recreation Centre.
The fair featured truck and tractor pulls, farm animal showings and competitions, medeival knights, a baby show, an ice cream eating contest, a pie eating contest, quilts and crafts and garden delights, along with a couple of food trucks and a beer garden.
The historic fair also hosted its first annual Horse Show, including an exciting morning of barrel racing on the track in front of the grandstand – the Hub sent staff photographer David Galway to have a look.
