hatchimal

This Christmas, the hottest item for children is a hatchimal. Best described, it is a toy that is a cross between a Furby and a Tamagotchi.  Because of high demand and low supply, parents may have been searching vainly for this item on their children's wish list.  But Andrew Teggart, the admin of a local Facebook group, has acquired two of the popular toys and he's generously passing them along for a good cause.

He is giving one away for free, via a "Pick-A-Number to win", give away post. The second is being auctioned off to the highest bidder, with all money raised going to Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto. Andrew is asking that payment be in the form of a money order payable to the SickKids Foundation. At the time this article was written, the highest bid is $185.  Over 1500 comments have been made on the post which is giving away the free Hatchimal.

On eBay, the complete set of 7 Hatchimal can reach as much as $1,500 USD.

Both the give away post and auction on Owen Sound 24/7 YARD SALE will be completed a few days prior to Christmas, to ensure two lucky children will have the gifts on Christmas morning.
