First in the series of Grey Bruce Chinese New Year Celebration events is an Art Show opening this Sunday, January 15. Additionally there will be an Artist Meet & Greet from 7 to 9pm on Friday the 20th at the gallery. Come out, see the art and mingle with the artists.

This is the 4th year we are partnering with Grey Roots Museum & Archives, Owen Sound & North Grey Union Public Library and the Tom Thomson Art Gallery for the Grey Bruce Chinese New Year Celebration. This year, we welcome a new partners, the City of Owen Sound and Heritage Place Mall to come on board. In the past three years, we have organized a full day event - morning at Grey Roots and afternoon at the Library and the TOM.

Two years ago the Chinese New Year art show was started which features local artist's work on the theme of the current Chinese Horoscope. This years theme is the year of the rooster.

Celebration 2017 is a series of events which will run from January 15 to February 11.
