The sights and sounds of the fifties return to downtown Owen Sound!
Friday, August 4th, from 6 pm to 9 pm, don't miss The Third Annual FIFTIES 1st FRIDAY Shopping Event and Classic Car Show. Special shopping deals and promotions will be offered by over 30 stores and restaurants throughout the entire downtown core and The Classic Car Show, featuring close to 100 cars, will be located along Second Avenue East from 8th Street to 11 Street. Disc jockeys will be spinning tunes from the Fifties all night long to create an exciting atmosphere and visitors are invited to dress up in their favourite 50's fashions to take part in the fun.
Own a classic car and want to take part? Please join us. Registration and entry is free plus all participating car owners are automatically entered into a draw for Downtown Merchant Gift Certificates. Registration starts at 5 pm and cars must be parked by 6 pm. Two registration desks will be set up on Second Avenue East at 9th Street and 10th Street.
