The 39th Annual Book Sale at the Owen Sound & North Grey Union Public Library will take place from October 23 to the 30th, with a special preview sale for library members on October 22. This significant fundraiser has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for the library, usually about $15,000 each year. It has also recycled close to a million books back into the community to readers of all ages.
Vintage, new, nearly new and used paperbacks, hardcovers, talking books, music CDs, DVDs, puzzles and games will be available for sale over an extended period this year. As always, additional books will be added each day throughout the sale.
A limited number of tickets ($15) are now available for the Preview Sale for library members which will take place Sunday October 22 from 2:00 to 5:00pm. The book sale will open to the public at 9:30am Monday October 23 and continue during regular library hours until Monday October 30.
