The second most beautiful phenomena in Astronomy! Join John Hlynialuk of the Bluewater Astronomical Society as he discusses what the Northern Lights are and how to be in the right place at the right time to see one of these stunning light shows.

John will also show images from other BAS photographers.
John Hlynialuk is a retired high school teacher who has been an avid stargazer for most of his life. John continues to work to promote the wonders of astronomy for students and the general public at the ES Fox Observatory at the Bluewater Outdoor Education Centre. He also writes a bi-weekly star column which appears in the Owen Sound Hub and other local publications.
