On Tuesday May 1st, in the forward lounge of the M.S. Chi-Cheemaun (at the dock), at 7 pm, the Board of Directors of the Community Waterfront Heritage Centre (CWHC) will host their Annual General Meeting.
This is a great opportunity for the general public to find out about upcoming CWHC events and programs, how to become a member, volunteer, or make a donation.
Highlights of the evening will include celebrating the 5th Anniversary of the Community Waterfront Heritage Centre and honouring three CWHC Lifetime Members. Scott Cameron, Ann Kelly and Ross Kentner, will be honoured for their commitment to saving the museum and its collection and the long term preservation of the marine, rail and industrial heritage of Owen Sound.
Following the Annual General Museum, Eric Conroy, "Captain" of the S.S. Keewatin, will present an illustrated talk on the history of Owen Sound, called "A Seed in Owen Sound Built Confederation".
Everyone is welcome. Light refreshments will be served.
