A Healthy Communities Conference is focusing on Indigenous Health Equity.

The Healthy Communities Conference 2018 – Creating Partnerships for Wellbeing addressing Indigenous health equity takes place Wednesday, May 9, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm at the Bayshore Community Centre, Owen Sound. This day-long workshop will explore topics related to cultural safety, local historical context, reconciliation, community development and how we can work together to take action in creating healthy and safe communities for all.

Speakers and presenters at a variety of breakout sessions will explore the root causes of Indigenous health inequities and carry that forward to engage in a reflective learning journey on what wellbeing for Grey and Bruce could look like.
