Dear Readers,
You are invited to the fifth annual coffee house in a tent outside the Owen Sound hospital of Grey Bruce Health Services (GBHS) on May 11 from 1:30 to 3:30. This event is a lot of fun each year. It celebrates mental health week. There are great talents in the show from  an electric guitar to some heart-warming singing. There is a whole variety of people performing.
This event is uplifting for a lot of people. The people in the community can see what we're up to. The staff and patients can come outside and take a look. The family and friends can enjoy the performance. The participants are happy to see one another perform. All around it is quite an inspiration!
We arrange for this event quite a bit in advance. Performers go through a process of preparing for the show and supporting one another. It is great for them to share their talents with each other. The participants have a chance to grow and develop as they take part in the team work. There are ice-breakers, questions and sharing moments. The process is motivating yet encouraging.
But the show wouldn't be quite the same without the audience to come and support the process. We hope some of you will join us on May 11 from 1:30 to 3:30 to celebrate Mental Health week.
The show was initially put together to help people involved in mental health to be uplifted. It also was meant to give people something to achieve and succeed in. We stay true to this intention and hope to put on an awesome show this year. Come and join us for the fifth annual coffee house.
