It's time to find out: are you a Saint or a Sinner?
On Sunday, June 24, Moreston Heritage Village at Grey Roots Museum & Archives comes to life with the colourful history of Grey County during the prohibition and
bootlegging era!
From 2 to 7 p.m., step back in time to "Corkscrew Town" and taste samples from regional beer, wine, cider, and spirits producers. Snack on delicious food from local
vendors. Get moving with live music. Keep an eye open for the entrance to The Black Rabbit, the local speakeasy – you'll need a password to get in. And watch out for the
prohibition protests, the rowdy partiers, and the paddy wagon scooping up trouble makers!
Local alcohol producers include: Junction 56 Distillery; Heritage Estate Winery & Cidery; Hoity Toity Cellars; Beattie's Distillers; Beaver Valley Orchard and Cidery; Black Bellows Brewing Company; Coffin Ridge Boutique Winery; The Duxbury Cider Co. Ltd.; and Redline Brewhouse. Food will be available from local vendors Grilled in Action; Sail Restaurant and Catering Co.; and Sweet Things From DeJong Acres. Enjoy live music from local musicians Grassfyre and the Mike Grace Quartet, and check out the exhibit that started it all: Saints & Sinners: A Spirited History of Grey County.
Event is 19+ and valid photo ID is required. Tickets are $20 in advance / $25 at the door and include five drink sample tokens. Designated driver tickets are $10 in advance / $15 at the door.
