The Owen Sound & North Grey Union Public Library is currently seeking volunteers in grades 9-12 to help support the bi-weekly Tech Talk program.
Tech Talk, initiated by a member of the Library's Teen Advisory Group, provides cross generational support that empowers people to feel more comfortable with technology as a part of their lives. Since starting in the spring of 2017, Tech Talk volunteers have now helped over 100 people achieve their technology goals.
Tech Talk runs from 4:00-6:00 pm on alternate Thursdays from October 11 to December 6. Students with an aptitude for technology who are interested in helping people learn how to better use the devices in their lives are asked to contact Nadia Danyluk, Deputy Chief Librarian, at [email protected] or download an application from the Library's website: www.owensound.library.on.ca.
