Creating memorable and exciting experiences is something the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre has a reputation for and this fall they have a lineup of events for children that will be just that!
Imagine being a kid and spending a whole “Night at the Museum”. This exclusive sleepover is for children aged 8 to 12. Excited costumed explorers arrive on October 20 at 8:00 p.m. for an evening filled with Halloween themed fun and games. They will experience the exhibits in a way they have never before; searching for items needed to decorate their Halloween Jack-o-lanterns. Once the pumpkins are decorated, special guest and local author Doug Archer will read from his latest book “Legend of the Phantom Reaper”, and kids can have their own copies signed by him. If you still need to purchase your own copy they will be available to purchase at the sleepover. Imagine the stories you will hear the morning after the coolest slumber party in the area! Giant Tiger proudly presents “Night at the Museum”.
Another super program for your little explorers is “Halloween Hoopla”. This morning of spooktacular fun for kids ages 5 to 10 is sure to get them in the Halloween spirit. Little adventurers will get to explore the Museum exhibits on a scavenger hunt, and then it’s time to create slime, play Halloween games and make a fun Halloween craft to take home.
To preregister for these programs drop by the Museum or call 519-797-2080.
