The Owen Sound Subaru Bayshore Race is planning their 10th annual event in support of the Owen Sound Hospital Foundation. The event is set to take place August 25th, at the Owen Sound Regional Hospital with the course setting out on the Rail Trail.

"We're looking forward to another incredible year of running and walking for a great cause," said Greg Nicol, Race Co-Director. The Bayshore Race offers a 1km Kids Fun Run, 5km, 10km and half marathon.

"Our course has changed since 2017 and we're happy to return to the Hospital site again in 2019. We heard from participants this course was a lot of fun and it's exciting to celebrate fundraising efforts for the hospital while we're right on site" Nicol said.

Registration for the event is now open with the early bird deadline fast approaching. Participants can sign up before March 31st to save on registration fees.

“We hope that runners and racer fans will better connect with the venue, seeing first hand where their fundraising efforts support. Our excitement renews as we see this event continue to grow” said Amy McKinnon, Owen Sound Regional Hospital Foundation’s Executive Director.
