Persephone Market Garden is offering a  workshop this Saturday, April 13th to help you learn about the most important resource in your  garden – your soil.

Come discover the magic under your feet!  Learn what makes it soil not dirt, and how you can take care of it. Healthy soil grows healthy food,  and it may even be our best solution to a warming climate.

"We’ll head into the greenhouse and start some seeds, and you'll take home a handout about soil and how to care for it, information on how to start seeds indoors, and a few soil blocks to help you get started," says Kristine Hammel, Persephone's primary farmer.

Lots more soil blocks will be available for purchase.

The workshop runs from 10 until 12 and costs $35.00, or can be bundled with two other workshops of your choice.
