bicyclesJoin us for the eighth annual Ride Don’t Hide on June 23, 2019, in over 25 communities across Canada including Owen Sound.

Ride Don’t Hide is the largest mental health bike ride in Canada with almost 10,000 riders and hundreds more family members, friends and volunteers across Canada taking part, raising more than $2 million each year for the Canadian Mental Health Association.

This community event accommodates riders of all ages and abilities with 5 different rides to choose from:

1 KM – Family Ride - This route is intended for families with small children

25KM – This is an intermediate and leisurely ride with a casual uphill climb to the Kemble Women’s Institute lookout along Grey Road 1 and back to Kelso Beach. It will take an average 1 hour to 2.5 hours to complete depending on conditioning and speed.

50 Km Ride: Centennial Park - An intermediate to advanced route along Grey Road 1 for those who want to challenge their biking experience along the scenic paved roads of Grey Road 1 to beautiful Centennial Park and back. 1 – 4 hours depending on your conditioning and speed.

80 Km Ride: Oxenden - A challenging route offering intermediate to conditioned cyclists an opportunity to enjoy the beauty alongside Georgian Bay. Cyclists will endure greater elevations, steep hills and picturesque landscapes. 2 – 4 hour duration.

NEW 100 Km Ride: Century Challenge - A challenging ride for experienced cyclists only with steep climbs and fast down hills combined with the picturesque scenery that is uniquely Grey Bruce. This route is limited to 40 cyclists and must be completed within 4 hours.
