The recent dry weather is stressing the hundreds of trees Neighbourwoods North has planted at the Owen Sound Hospital. Planting trees is one thing - keeping them nurtured so they can survive the weather is another.

You are invited to a watering and other tree care day on Sunday, July 14 from 9 to 10:30.  If you want to come by and help, you can sign up when you get there.  Park on the laneway between emerge and the forest. You will see other cars there.

There will be buckets, fire hose, access to a fire hydrant, trucks, and water tanks.

Bring a whipper-snipper, gardening shears, and a bucket if you have them, but most of all bring yourself. Dress for the weather and don't forget gloves.
