Grey Sauble Conservation Authority (GSCA) announced today that Sonya Skinner has tendered her resignation as CAO effective August 5th, 2019. Sonya has accepted the position of Executive Director of Customer and Corporate Services with the Town of Collingwood.
GSCA Chair, Cathy Little said, “We are sorry that Sonya is leaving GSCA. In her time here, she has provided outstanding leadership to staff and to the Board of Directors. The development and implementation of a new strategic plan has enabled GSCA to become more innovative, and collaborative engagement with our community organizations, stakeholders, and our municipal partners has raised our leadership profile in the region. We are grateful to Sonya for her exemplary service and wish her great success in her new position”.
Tim Lanthier, currently the GSCA Lands and Habitats Coordinator will act as Interim General Manager with the support of key staff members until the end of January. The Board recognizes the excellence of current staff and has confidence in those taking on new responsibilities in the interim. The Board of Directors will begin the recruitment process for a new CAO immediately.
