Are you looking for a way to beat the winter blahs? Join the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre starting on February 12 for their annual program entitled “Adventure Talks” to hear inspiring adventure travel stories, accompanied by electrifying photography, from around the world.
This five-part series features guest speakers who will highlight their experiences of travelling to some of the world’s most amazing places. The series kicks off on February 12 when Christy Eaglesham shares her journey of hiking the Camino de Santiago in Spain. On February 26, be captivated by the beautiful photos of Ian Evans skiing from the coast of Antarctica to the South Pole, and later cycling across Australia. Be enthralled on March 11 listening to John Swatridge’s favourite travel experiences in Asia, followed by the tales of Amy Muschik’s adventure in Jordan on March 25. The final speaker, photographer Jennifer O’Reilly, will on April 8 showcase a pot-pourri of photographs from far-flung locales that have taken her breath away.
