Paisley Blues Festival's guitar lending program for youth is up and running. Youth can sign out an electric guitar and amp for 3 months, for FREE. In addition, each youth that signs out a guitar receives 3 months access to Fender Play, for FREE.

Fender Play is an awesome online learning platform, created by the legendary guitar company.

Our program is using electric guitars, as they are better suited to smaller hands, and require very little finger pressure to create sound, compared to an acoustic guitar. All amps have a headphone plug-in, allowing for silent jamming, which parents may appreciate.

Our program is starting with 20 electric guitars/amps/Fender Play accounts, to get as many kids involved as possible. Once kids have the chance to learn the basics with Fender Play, they will be able to utilize all of the FREE online workshops found at paisleyrocks.com.

Sign-out/registration is found at www.paisleyrocks.com, with a simple form. We think that this guitar lending program will be very effective in introducing local youth to music, for FREE.  The combination of quality, appropriately sized equipment, and a
great online learning platform will allow kids to learn at home, which is where they are spending a lot of time right now.
