Last-PilingThe Sydenham is pleased to announce that the driving of piles for the seven-storey condominium development in downtown Owen Sound has concluded today. The site will be cleaned up and the crane is expected to be disassembled and removed this week.

Bermingham Foundation Solutions, the company performing the work, has been on site since mid-October driving the piles on which this luxury development will be supported. The piles have been successfully driven to bedrock at depths of 36 to 47 metres. During this period, the entire downtown area has heard the thumping of the hammer as it drove the piles.
