The second event of the 'Sustainable Living' series occurs on Zoom this coming Tuesday, November 17 at 7 pm. This one will focus on Home Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy through a journey of two off-grid homes in Grey County.

The first video will present the log home of David Brodie and Jill Smith Brodie. The second video will present the straw bale home of Lynn Stoltzfus and Christine Forand. Each family will share their personal choices and the unique characteristics of their home life.

Renewable energy, local food and agriculture, waste, nature based solutions and more, are at the heart of community adaptation to the current climate crisis.  We'll cover them all in this series, creating a library of on-line resources for our community.
