meaford logoThe Municipality of Meaford’s Administrative office at 21 Trowbridge Street West will be reopening its doors to the public on Monday, February 22, 2021.

The office had closed for the holidays on December 24, 2020, and remained closed to the public in the new year during the Provincewide Shutdown. Staff continued to work in the office and remotely during this time to respond to inquiries and offer Municipal services.

Hours of operation for the Administrative office are Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. We ask all visitors to the office to continue to wear masks and use the hand sanitizer provided. The number of people in the front lobby will also continue to be limited to ensure physical distancing. The Municipality continues to offer many online options for accessing our services or making payments, so please continue to use our remote service tools when possible.

“Our team is looking at our other facilities, as well as our spring/summer activities to ensure we can operate them within health unit guidelines” said CAO/Director of Development Services Rob Armstrong. “The safety of our residents and staff continues to be our top priority”.

The Council meeting scheduled for Monday, February 22nd will be held virtually as planned, after which staff will review how to proceed with future meetings. Meaford Council has approved Advisory Committee meetings to be held virtually, so they will be proceeding with online meetings at this time.
