Do you have expertise, experience or energy to share? Are you looking for a way to give back to your community? The Municipality of Meaford is seeking volunteers to join the newly established Council Remuneration Committee (CRC).

Applicants must live, work or own a property or business in the Municipality of Meaford.

The Council Remuneration Committee Terms of Reference and applications are available online at http://www.meaford.ca/appointments or can be picked up at the Municipal office at 21 Trowbridge Street West. The deadline for applications is Monday, April 5th 2021.

Council Remuneration Committee
The Council Remuneration Committee reviews remuneration levels and benefits paid to Municipality of Meaford Council members. This committee is to produce an independent report that provides recommendations to Council on level of total compensation in advance of the 2022 municipal election.

Required: 3-5 members

Meetings: Monthly between May and October (with no meeting in August), generally Wednesday afternoons

General Requirements for all appointments:
* All applicants must live, work or own a property or business in the Municipality of Meaford.
* Applicants must not be employed by the Municipality of Meaford.
* Committee and Board positions are voluntary, with no remuneration.
