The Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre is pleased to announce that Rachel Taylor has joined their team in the Development Officer role.
“The Development Officer position is an integral role within the Museum operations.” says Cathy McGirr, Director, Museum & Cultural Services. “The BCM&CC is fortunate to have Rachel join the team and will benefit from Rachel’s experience, education, and community-oriented mindset”
Rachel has a wealth of experience in the areas of fundraising and fund development and was most recently the Fund Development Manager with Residential Hospice of Grey Bruce and previously as Fundraising Intern with Our Kids Grey Bruce Child & Family Services Foundation. Rachel holds a graduate certificate in Fundraising & Resource Development from Georgian College and is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP). She is currently working towards her CFRE (Certified Fund Raising Executive) certification and designation.
The Development Officer oversees fundraising, Museum memberships, donations, and legacy giving, among other important revenue generating activities.
