biz startupGrey County’s Business Enterprise Centre is pleased to be offering two grant programs this summer to assist local small businesses.

The Starter Company Plus Program is a training and mentorship program designed for adult entrepreneurs starting up new businesses. Participants will receive training and business skills development as well as mentorship from local business leaders and may be eligible for a grant of up to $5,000.

The Summer Company Program offers high school and post-secondary students the opportunity to start and manage their own summer business. Successful applicants will receive a grant of up to $3,000 and invaluable training and mentorship from local business leaders.

The Starter Company Plus program officially kicks off July 1. Applications for this program open April 12 at madeingrey.ca/business-enterprise-centre and will remain open for two weeks.

Summer Company Program applications are currently open until May 1 at ontario.ca/page/start-summer-company-students for students between the ages of 15-29.
