classroomThe Bruce-Grey Catholic District School Board is reaching out to the community for feedback on the upcoming 2021-2022 budget.

The Board of Trustees and the Senior Administration Team of the Bruce-Grey Catholic District School Board feel very strongly about consulting with stakeholders on important decisions and processes.

Our 2021-2022 budget theme is: Purpose is the Reason We Journey. Passion is the Fire that Lights Our Way, a theme that is driven by our desire to meet the needs of each and every student through opportunities that engage, inspire and nurture our Catholic values.

As we engage in the 2021-2022 budget preparations we would greatly appreciate your input, feedback and comments. “Our annual budget is an important process for setting the stage for the upcoming school year. As we continue to deal with the impacts of COVID-19, feedback on the programming and services needed to support our students and staff is so important.” said Alecia Lantz, Superintendent of Business & Treasurer. “I would like to encourage our Catholic school communities to take this opportunity to provide valuable input and feedback to assist us in creating this year’s budget.”

The results of this survey will be utilized by the Internal Audit Committee, the Board of Trustees and Senior Administration throughout the budget preparation and planning process and will be presented as part of the budget presentation at the June 20, 2021 board meeting. Those interested in providing feedback can do so through ThoughtExchange, a confidential interactive tool where your thoughts will be shared but not your identity.

The opportunity to provide feedback will be open to Friday May 14, 2021.
