A local group is looking to preserve the Beaver Valley.

A group of Grey Highland residents is concerned about the ecological preservation of the 200-plus acres of land in the Beaver Valley Corridor and the potential purchase of the property known as the Talisman Lands proposed by a coalition of conservation organizations.
There will be a number of presenters at today's council meeting including, Joyce Hall, Chair of the Grey Highlands Climate Action Group; local landowner Jeanette Walters; Stacie Howe, the proprietor of the Kimberley General Store; Dr. Mary Ferguson: Senior Partner of EkoNomos and Linda Reader of the Escarpment Biosphere Conservancy.
