There is an active  COVID-19 outbreak - two confirmed cases -  at Bobi's Play School a childcare centre with a school-age day camp in Meaford.

An outbreak is declared when there is evidence of transmission from one person to another person within the childcare setting. Staff and management of the daycare are working in collaboration with public health to ensure the safety of the children, families, staff and the community.

"The individuals with COVID-19 have been contacted directly by our COVID-19 Case and Contact Management Team. We have worked with the individuals and the nursery school and have identified all others, both in and out of the school environment, who may have been exposed and have determined their risk level. Any cohorts that have been identified as contacts to the case have been excluded from the facility at this time."
