mangoes

Various brands of frozen mangoes are being recalled from the marketplace due to possible Hepatitis A contamination. Consumers should not consume the recalled products. Find out which products are recalled (includes photos of products).

If you have the recalled product in your home throw it out or return it to the store where you purchased it.

According to the Simcoe-Muskoka Health Unit, vaccination is strongly recommended for anyone 6 months of age and over who has consumed the frozen mango product related to the food recall in the last 14 days.  They are offering vaccination clinics for the Hepatitis A vaccine.
