Work is scheduled to start on Monday August 30, 2021 to repave Trowbridge Street East between Sykes Street East and Bayfield Street, as well as, the Municipal parking lot at 22 Trowbridge Street East.

The Municipality has hired Tri-Capital Construction Incorporated to complete the construction work which includes improvements to the sidewalks at the intersection of Trowbridge and Sykes Street North, and the construction of new accessible parking spots next to the Meaford Public Library.

Construction will take place Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. All works are expected to be completed by September 17, 2021. There will be traffic delays on Trowbridge Street during the construction times. A full road closure may be necessary for a short duration during some of the construction activities. On street parking will not be available until all work is complete.

Public parking is available on Bayfield Street, at the Market Square (beside Meaford Hall), and 28 Nelson Street (across from LCBO).
