The Ontario Pumped Storage Project is holding  Virtual Open Houses scheduled for November 25 and 30, from 7 to 9 p.m.

The Open Houses are an opportunity to hear the latest from Project leadership; ask questions and learn more about this proposed energy storage facility. In July, TC Energy reached agreement with the Department of National Defence, that subject to conditions and regulatory approval, allows for the development of the 1,000-megawatt clean energy storage project on federal lands near Meaford.

The Saugeen Ojibway Nation and TC Energy have been in consultation regarding a potential co-development and joint ownership arrangement on the project. With a Pathways Agreement in place, they are collaborating on the assessment of potential environmental impacts and economic benefits for the SON communities.
