Dear Parents/Guardians:

It was announced today by the provincial government that the return date for students following the holiday break at all publicly funded schools in Ontario is being delayed by two days in response to the recent surge in COVID-19 cases across the province. As a result of today’s announcement, all elementary and secondary schools in Bluewater District School Board will reopen to students for in-person learning on Wednesday January 5, 2022 as opposed to the originally scheduled date of Monday, January 3, 2022. Please note that remote learning will not be occurring during the two-day delay period.

We appreciate the continued patience and cooperation of our students and families as we work through this slight delay period together, and look forward to seeing everyone again soon.
