On October 24, 2022 residents of Georgian Bluffs will elect 1 Mayor, 1 Deputy Mayor and 5 Councillors.  Three nominations have been received for the 2022 Election - two of them are for the position of mayor.

Nomination papers must be accompanied by at least 25 signatures of endorsement. Nominations must be filed in-person, at the Township Administration Office, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 4:30p.m., Monday to Friday, by 2:00 p.m. on August 19th. Full information and forms are available here.

One current councillor, Cathy Moore Coburn, has filed her nomination papers. She recently wrote an opinion piece to encourage people to run for municipal office. "The democratic process works best when voters have ample choices to represent them," she said.
