The Municipality of Meaford will be voting by mail and in-person for the upcoming Municipal and School Board Elections.

Registration to vote by mail has now closed. Election Day is Monday, October 24, and polls will be open across the Municipality between 10:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Choose to vote at any of the following locations:

Meaford Hall (12 Nelson Street East, Meaford)
Bognor Community Hall (597353 Grey Road 29, Bognor)
Woodford Hall (107 Woodford Crescent, Owen Sound)
Trinity United Church (303234 Sideroad 33, Annan)
Meaford and St. Vincent Community Centre (151 Collingwood Street, Meaford)

Five advance polls will also be held prior to election day:

Saturday, October 8, 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Meaford Hall (12 Nelson Street East, Meaford)
Sunday, October 9, 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Bognor Community Hall (597353 Grey Road 29, Bognor)
Saturday, October 15, 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Woodford Hall (107 Woodford Crescent, Owen Sound)
Sunday, October 16, 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Meaford Hall (12 Nelson Street East, Meaford)
Wednesday, October 19, 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Meaford Hall (12 Nelson Street East, Meaford)

Each eligible elector will receive a polling card by mail at the start of October. If you do not receive a polling card, there will be an extra step to add you to the voters’ list. This can be done by filling out the prescribed form and showing identification at any advance poll, on Election Day or by visiting the administration office at 21 Trowbridge Street West, Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. until Friday October 21, 2022.

When you go to vote, please bring identification with you, such as your polling card and another item from the list of acceptable identification found on www.meafordvotes.ca that includes your name and qualifying address.
