The Significant Weather Event declared by the Township of Georgian Bluffs on Thursday, December 22 has now ended. After significant effort by operations staff, and bringing in additional heavy equipment, all Township roads have now been made passable. Work is continuing to bring them up to standard.
With above-zero temperatures and rain anticipated in the upcoming days, please be advised that there may be flooding along waterways, low-lying areas, and areas with insufficient drainage. Please use extra caution, and watch the Grey Sauble Conservation Authority flood status monitoring for updates.
We would like to thank everyone for your patience during this extreme weather event.
