As of now, the proposed 2023 budget for Grey Highlands means an increase of $141 in tax for the average householder. The public will have an opportunity to take a look at the full budget and ask their questions at a budget town hall - both in-person and virtual - on February 16, two weeks before the Special Council Budget Meeting.

The current proposed tax increase is 7%
A 7% increase equates to $42 for every $100,000 of assessment. The average house in Grey Highlands is assessed at $305,908, which would be an increase of $141.
