The Municipality of Meaford would like to announce the retirement of the Municipality’s Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), Rob Armstrong. Rob has worked for the Municipality since 2009 in a variety of roles, including as CAO since 2018.

Throughout his tenure at the Municipality of Meaford, Rob has been instrumental in guiding the organization to new heights, spearheading numerous successful initiatives, and fostering a culture of community and collaboration.

Council would like to express their sincere appreciation to Rob for his unwavering dedication to the Municipality and the community. His vision and strategic direction have been invaluable to the success of the Municipality and have made a positive impact on our community.

The Municipality has started the search for a suitable candidate to fill the critical role of CAO. The Clerk/Director of Community Services, Matt Smith, will perform the role of Acting CAO until the search process is complete.
