Community Foundation Grey Bruce announced today that Executive Director Aly Boltman is moving on. The board of directors recently received the news that Boltman has decided to take a position with another non-profit and will be leaving her position effective February 12, 2016.
Chair Kim West commented, “Aly has made so many important contributions to the foundation in her time with us. She was instrumental in raising our profile in the community foundation family; she led the way in developing over thirty-five new endowment funds that will benefit our local communities in perpetuity; and she has developed very strong relationships in all sectors across Grey Bruce. Her passion for the work that we do is admirable and we wish her the very best in her new work.”
As Boltman gets set to leave in three weeks’ time, she had this to say, "It has been so personally and professionally rewarding to have been a part of a team that is such a catalyst for change in Grey Bruce. Nothing would be possible without the donors and partners in the community, to whom I have grown very attached. I have much appreciated the opportunity provided to me by the Foundation, and look forward to continuing to serve the not-for-profit sector in my new role which will be announced in February."
The foundation board has formed a recruitment committee that will begin the search for the Executive Director’s replacement within the week.
