Pouring of the Lower Level slab for The Sydenham condominium project in downtown Owen Sound is happening today. The entire slab has to be poured in one go, so the construction crew will be working late. This slab is crucial to the integrity of the whole building. It is not just a floor to park cars on, it is the structure on which the weight of the building rests. The complexity of the steel involved is impressive.
